English Language Acquisition District-wide Advisory Committee (ELA DAC) Meeting

The English Language Acquisition District-wide Advisory Committee (ELA DAC) is a monthly meeting to inform ELA parents about topics that concern them and improve dialog with DPS. The ELA DAC promotes academic partnerships and leadership through interactive sessions that bring together families from across the district to enhance their advocacy skills at home, school, and district level.

The Office of Family and Community Engagement in collaboration with the ELA Department is excited to invite you to the English Language Acquisition District Advisory Committee (ELA DAC). The topics will be:

  • Kicking the year off with information about ELA Program and Services
  • Find out where out Title I find go and give us feedback where they should be spent
  • Community Resources available at the Mexican Consulate in Denver

The ELA DAC meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 24th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church, 3701 Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80205

Conversaremos acerca de los programas y servicios ELA
Los recursos comunitarios disponibles en el Consulado de México en Denver
Infórmese sobre la manera en que invertimos nuestros fondos del Título I y compartan sus comentarios y sugerencias sobre dónde deberían invertirse.

La reunión tendrá lugar de 9:30 a 11:30 a. m., el martes, 24 de septiembre en el New Baptist Church, 3701 Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80205.

NOTA: Se les considera padres o tutores legales de ELA si tienen un estudiante que está aprendiendo inglés en uno de los programas de adquisición del idioma inglés de las Escuelas Públicas de Denver.

Se proveerá servicio de interpretación, cuidado infantil (para niños de 3 a 12 años) y comida sin costo alguno para los participantes. ¡Inscríbanse ya!
