Family, School, Community Partnerships
Who is FSCP?
The Family, School, Community Partnerships (FSCP) team works closely with staff and family liaisons across Denver Public Schools (DPS) to strengthen their skills in family engagement. By implementing research-based best practices and strategies, the team aims to provide DPS staff with the tools and resources needed to create meaningful connections with families and community partners. This collaborative effort ensures that families play a crucial role in supporting the academic success and well-being of students, helping every learner thrive.

Parent Teacher Home Visits (PTHV)
PTHV is a high-impact family engagement strategy designed to build trusting home-school partnerships centered on shared hopes and dreams. It is a chance for educators to get to know their students and families outside of the school and a great way to build the trust and connection that is necessary for the student's success in the classroom. Many schools and educators in DPS choose to participate in PTHVs and these visits can be done in-person, somewhere in the community, or virtually.
