How do donors know where to donate?

Donors find how to donate Gift In Kind donations through the DPS Volunteer Webpage.

How do donors notify Volunteer Services of their inquiry to donate?

By submitting a Donation Inquiry Form.

Once the Donation Inquiry Form is submitted Volunteer Services receives a notification, reviews the submission and connects the donor with potentially interested schools.

Donations are REQUIRED to be delivered. Unless otherwise coordinated via school

Once the School and Donor connect and the donation has been given. The school should reply back to the original connecting email confirming the donation was received.

If the donation is over $500 value, schools need to fill out and email the DONATION FORM to board@dpsk12.org

PLEASE cc Volunteer Services when emailing the Donation Form to the board for record reconciliation.

Schools can request to be put on a wish list via the DPS Volunteer Services School Donations Requests.

Donate to Support our Learners and Educators

School & Classroom Supplies:

  • Calculators: Basic and scientific

  • Construction Paper

  • Crayons

  • Dry Erase Markers

  • Graph Paper

  • Highlighters

  • Pencils

  • Pencil Sharpeners

  • Spiral Notebooks

  • Scissors

  • Sticky Notes

  • Furniture: Desks, tables, folding chairs, etc.

  • Tools: Mechanics or “shop” tools.

  • Toys: New

  • Art Supplies

  • Cameras: Digital cameras and digital video cameras

  • Backpacks: New

  • Clothes: New clothing in various sizes

  • Computers: Computers are donated to PCs for People who will refurbish and distribute them to our students. Learn more about this process.

  • Laboratory Supplies: Biology, Chemistry, and robotics

  • Denver Citywide Marching Band is a music program within Denver Public Schools. The DCMB is made up of music students, grades 7th-12th, from 20 different schools across the district.  Needed instruments and equipment can be found on our  Amazon Wish List

  • Musical Instruments: We no longer accept pianos  To donate musical instruments, contact Christa Taylor at 720-423-1828.
