Within DPS, the Climate and Safety team holds over 100 staff with far-reaching roles such as safety officers, emergency management staff, and violence-prevention support teams. This team has partnered with the FACE (family & community engagement) team to better share with families the work that they do, and gather valuable feedback on how they can share their work with the community to increase safety knowledge/practices inside and outside of our schools.
